Stanley Paul Arbogast
Stanley Paul Arbogast, 70, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Stanley was born September 6, 1949, in Tuscola, IL, the son of Stanley Junior and Eileen Ruth (Harrison) Arbogast. A member of Resurrection Life Church and United Auto Workers Local 751, Stanley worked as an electrician at Caterpillar retiring in 2011.
Surviving are his children: Stefanie M. Campbell of Decatur, Andrew J. (Joanne) Arbogast of Quincy, and Elizabeth R. (Shannon) Cornthwaite of Macon; grandchildren: Sawyer, Norah, Hannah, Marissa, Alexandria “Ally”, and Edward “Duke;” sisters; Donna Peters, Patty Arbogast and Lori Ochs; nieces, nephews; high school friend, Bob Arnett; good friends: Beryl Hackney and Leonard Brewer.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents.
With CDC guidelines in mind, private family services will be held. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
