Dreams Do Come True….Brown Signs With Division-1 Tulsa. ALAH Senior softball standout Makenzie Brown made it official on Friday, November 13 signing her National Letter of Intent to the University of Tulsa in front of a large group of family, friends, teammates, coaches, classmates and administration. Brown has always aspired to play D-1 softball and will be do just that playing for the Golden Hurricanes in Oklahoma following graduation. Some of her accolades include First Team IHSA All State, two time First Team LPC All-Conference, and First Team All-Area News-Gazette. Brown was an instrumental part of the Knights 2019 I.H.S.A. Class A Regional Championship Team. She is the daughter of Lisa Hood and Andy Brown and plans to major in Criminal Justice at TU. Pictured is (front row) Andy Brown, Makenzie Brown, and Lisa Hood.
