Basketball Practice

The ALAH high school boys basketball team took the court soon after the girls finished their practice on Tuesday evening. After shooting around and doing a few running drills up and down the court, they divided into teams and and scrimmaged for most of their remaining practice time. Coach McGill stated, “Practices following Covid restrictions started on Tuesday and on a personal level, I am thrilled to be back on the court with the kids again. More importantly I find it a great relief that we can gather our kids safely and give them some sense of that normalcy they have been missing. I/we have been so concerned with their mental health during this whole process and to see the pure joy they have displayed over the last few days has been wonderful to see!” He added as things are changing virtually hour by hour, what seemed like an impossibility just over a week ago is now happening and hopes this next will be just as exciting.
