Dr. Robert E. Galliani joins Arthur Oral Health Care

Dr. Maris J. Lans, and the staff at Arthur Oral Health Care, welcome the arrival of Dr. Robert E. Galliani to the practice at 525 North Vine Street in Arthur.

Dr. Galliani’s and Dr. Lans’ professional relationship goes back many years.

Dr. Galliani is a Veteran of the Navy Dental Corps, having served in Japan. He ran his practice in Deerfield, Illinois for 47 years.

Dr. Lans stated that he couldn’t be happier knowing that the dental care of the wonderful people of Arthur and the surrounding communities will be expanded thanks to Dr. Galliani’s presence and expertise.

Prior to coming to Arthur two years ago, Dr. Lans was actually going to join Dr. Galliani in Deerfield. As many know, Dr. Lans wound up purchasing the practice of the late Dr. William Brown from his estate to keep the practice open here in Arthur. “By law, the practice would have had to close down on the one year anniversary of Dr. Brown’s passing, being that there was not an Illinois licensed dentist in the immediate Brown family. I wasn’t about to let that happen on my watch, so I made arrangements to acquire the practice.”

“It was the single best decision that I have every made in my 40 years as a dentist. The people of Arthur welcomed me with open arms (and mouths?)” quips Dr. Lans.

In addition to the recent installation of a digital radiographic diagnostic system, the office will be expanding its dental laboratory capability, and undergoing a thorough modernization.

New patients are welcome to call for an appointment. Becky Miller and Beth Wilson will continue to be the smiling faces at AOHC, along with Samantha Brown, the hygienist.

“God’s will put this all together for us,” says Dr. Lans. “We all look forward to being able to serve the community for many years to come.”
