CGB Broncos Cross Country Team competes at 44th annual Tuscola Classic

The Cerro Gordo Bement Broncos cross country teams ran in the 44th Annual Tuscola Classic on Saturday, September 18. Gabby Block #15 and Mariah Corpus #17 are shown here on the first lap of the course at Wimple Park. The freshman girls would each earn a medal for their efforts. Mariah finished in 51st place in a time of 23:43.06 with Gabby right behind her in 52nd in a time of 23:45.89. #221 Dylan Howell of the Cerro Gordo Bement Broncos cross country team battles to the finish with Tuscola’s Josiah Hortin. Dylan would take third place overall in the boys’ race with a time of 16:39.56 three tenths faster than Josiah. Dylan’s place and time also earned him top honors as the fastest sophomore in the boys’ competition. The meet was the 44th Annual Tuscola Classic held at Wimple Park on Saturday, September 18.
