ROCKING AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE. A great crowd turned out as Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand to help with Bement’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Sunday, November 28 at Veteran’s Park. Several children and a few adults in attendance had on their warm fleece Christmas pajamas as the temperature was a crisp 31 degrees. Village employee Chad Corum was responsible for getting the big Christmas tree ready for the lighting event.
