Senior Cerro Gordo-Bement Bronco standout Connor Brown was honored with a special presentation prior to the start of the varsity home basketball on December 28. Brown actually scored his 1,000 point on the road at Fisher on Tuesday, December 21. He is the 15th player in Cerro Gordo School history to accomplish this feat, and only the third player besides Nathan Lovekamp and Connor Gross since the CGB co-op was formed. Connor has averaged 17-points per game for his career and is currently averaging 28-points per game this season. Pictured with Brown is Coach Brandon Willard who presented him with a commemorative basketball along with his fellow teammates.
