The Arthur Christian School girls varsity basketball team took 2nd place at the 17th Annual ACS Holiday Classic held December 28-30.  They defeated Calumet Christian on Tuesday by a score of 61-43, went on to beat Christian Liberty Academy 39-22 on Wednesday, and lost in the championship game Thursday afternoon to Illinois CRU Homeschool 22-53.  Pictured with their plaque are team members (front row) Addi Erwin, Brileigh Mast, Alayna Cutler, Chloe Mast, Sophie Mast, and Jodi Kuhns.  (Back row) Sheridan Miller, Keisha Miller, Amelie Whitchurch, Libby Henry, Liana Kauffman, and Annabelle Haskins.  They are coached by Nik Kauffman and assistant coaches Schuyler Binion, Paul Henningsen, and Kelly Kauffman.  Teams participating in the 3-day tournament included Calumet Christian School (Griffith, IN.), Christian Liberty Academy (Arlington Heights, IL.), Faith Bible Christian Academy (Rosamond, IL.), Illinois CRU Homeschool (Big Rock, IL.), Mid-Missouri Homeschool (Jefferson City, MO.), Mountain Top Christian Academy (Horicon, WI.), and Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL.).
