Kevin Eugene Elder

Kevin Eugene Elder, 55, of Lovington, passed away 4:52 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Lovington. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Lovington. Burial will be in Keller Cemetery, Lovington, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Lovington Sparrows Unlimited.

Kevin was born on February 15, 1966, in Decatur; the son of Guy David Elder and Joyce Ann (Stinson) Benton. He collected antique toy tractors and cast-iron skillets. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Kevin loved his grandchildren very much. He loved to attend auctions and tractor shows.

He is survived by mother, Joyce Ann Benton of Lovington; sons, Gage (Jamie) Elder of Decatur and Brody Elder of Lovington; daughter, Brynn Elder of Lovington; brother, Michael (Vicky) Elder of Sullivan; grandchildren, Sawyer and Fisher Elder.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
