CONNOR BROWN BREAKS BOYS BASKETBALL RECORD. Senior Cerro Gordo-Bement stand out Connor Brown was honored just prior to the start of the varsity game on Wednesday, February 16 by Cerro Gordo Athletic Director and Head Coach Brandon Willard. With a basket in the 4th quarter of the February 15 game against LSA, Brown scored his 749th point of the season breaking Mark Mull’s individual single season scoring record of 748 points that has stood for 48 years going back to the 1973-1974 season. He is pictured with his parents Jennifer and Michael Brown. Congratulations Connor on becoming Cerro Gordo High Schools all-time leading single season scorer.
