Burdick, Nall, and Stirrett Crowned 2022 A.L.A.H. Royalty
2022 MISS A.L.A.H. ROYALTY CROWNED. The 2022 Miss A.L.A.H. pageant was held on Saturday, February 26 at Penn Station. Pictured is (front row) newly crowned 2022 Little Miss A.L.A.H. The 2022 Miss A.L.A.H. pageant, sponsored by the Arthur Area Association of Commerce and the Atwood Chamber of Commerce, was held Saturday, February 26 at Penn Station in downtown Arthur before a packed house.
Winning the title of 2022 Miss A.L.A.H. was Kendall Burdick. Kendall is 15 years of age and the daughter of Ryan and Kathleen Burdick of Arthur. She is a sophomore at Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School and was sponsored by Arthur Countertop Company. Kendall also won the Miss Congeniality award.
Brook Frantz, daughter of Brad and Ashley Frantz of Bement was 1st Runner-Up and First State Bank of Atwood was her sponsor. Regann Bowles, daughter of Ryan and Jami Bowles of Atwood was 2nd Runner-Up and her sponsor was Monical’s Pizza in Tuscola.
Other contestants included Katheryn Perez, daughter of Nick and Meredith Perez of Arthur, sponsored by Mitch Webb Wrestling Memorial Scholarship; Layna Kapp, daughter of Jennifer Riley of Lovington, sponsored by Bretz Chiropractic; and Kelly Toto, daughter of Maria
Ramirez and Jose Toto, sponsored by La Cascada Mexican Grill.
Capturing the title of 2022 Jr. Miss A.L.A.H. was Emmalee Nall. Emmalee is the 14-year-old daughter of Mike and Kristin Nall of Arthur. She was sponsored by Frenchie’s Boutique.
Kimberly Krutsinger, daughter of Mark and Anita Krutsinger of Arthur was 1st Runner-Up and her sponsor was the Arthur Flower Shop. Jorja Lebeter, daughter of Brian and Megan Lebeter from Arthur was named 2nd Runner-Up and she was sponsored by Randall Electric. Junior
Miss Congeniality went to Shelbey Grimsley, daughter of Justin and Tiffany Grimsley of Arthur, sponsored by Legacy Land Company.
Other contestants included Josephine Sawyer, daughter of Josh and Jennifer Peters of Arthur and Shawn and Toni Sawyer, sponsored by Rent A Tent and Kyndrie Carter, daughter of JJ and Erica Carter from Arthur, sponsored by Loud Mouth Lawn Signs.
The title of 2022 Little Miss A.L.A.H. was won by Maelee Stirrett. Maelee is the 5-year-old daughter of Mikie and Megan Stirrett of Atwood was sponsored by Main Street Mums.
Other Little Miss contestants included Payton Jones, daughter of Stephanie Sandiford of Atwood and John Jones, sponsored by Bart and Karen Smith; Mia Perez, daughter of Nick and Meredith Perez of Arthur, sponsored by Mitch Webb Wrestling Memorial Scholarship; Teddie Risley, daughter of Zachary Risley and Stevi Brinkley of Atwood, sponsored by His and Her Cutz; Ember Ely, daughter of Chad and Haley Ely, sponsored by Bruder Tank; Jazlynn Stites, daughter of Tre and Charlotte Stites, sponsored by Charlotte Stites; and Alice Watkins, daughter of Jordan and Kendra Watkins, sponsored by Watkins Farms & Trucking.
Little Miss contestant Alice Watkins was the top seller for raffle tickets with 155 tickets sold. Winners were Curt Taylor, Shelly Ludwig, Brian Elmore, Julio Cesar, Alice Watkins, Mackenley Bowles, Theresa Miller, Brian and Sue Gass, and Lynda Marlow.
Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening was 2019 Miss A.L.A.H. Kyla Carson.
