Ann Marie Good

Ann Marie Good, 77, of Lovington, IL passed away at 8:17 P.M. on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Heritage Health in Mt. Zion, IL.

A Memorial graveside service will be held in the Keller Cemetery in Lovington, IL. Rev. Rodney Houser will officiate.

Ann was born on September 10, 1944 in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter of Wallace and Martha (Harkless) Morgan.

She is survived by three children, Kirk Jurgens and his wife Julie of Lovington, IL, Kristin Jurgens of Springfield, IL and Matthew Jurgens of Rochester, IL, four grandchildren, Nichole (Joe) Watkins of Forsyth, IL, Rachel (Corey) Jenkins of Sullivan, IL, Jake and Will Jurgens of Chatham, IL, four great grandchildren, Madison, Maybelle, Shirley and Theodore, and one brother, Joe Morgan of Catalina, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ann graduated from Atwood Hammond, class of 1962. She attended the University of Illinois and transferred to Millikin University where she received her bachelor’s degree in English Education. Ann was a High School English Teacher in Kahuku, HI for two years before returning to Illinois and teaching High School English in Cerro Gordo in the early 1970’s.

Ann worked at Kowa Graphics in Champaign, IL, in bindery and shipping for 10 years. She later worked at Huston Patterson in Decatur, IL from 1998 until she retired in 2008 as Director of Shipping.

Ann enjoyed cheering on her Green Bay Packers, fishing and working in her yard.
