Knights softball pickup two wins, drop one to Tuscola

On the road at Tuscola on Thursday, the Knights fell behind early and couldn’t come back in the 10-14 loss.

Kailee Otto collected four hits in the defeat. She homered in the third, doubled in the fourth, singled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.

ALAH scored four runs in the seventh inning from singles by Alisha Frederick and Kailee Otto.

Taking the loss for the Knights was Maddie Schweighart. The righthander allowed 12 hits and 14 runs over six innings, striking out three and walking zero.

ALAH tallied 16 hits as Kailee Otto, Maddie Schweighart, Charley Condill, Ryli Kauffman, and Alisha Frederick each racked up multiple hits. Otto went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

Big inning propels Knights to victory over Neoga

Nine runs in the fourth inning led ALAH past Neoga 13-1 on Tuesday. The offense in the inning was led by Charley Condill, Mackenzie Condill, Alisha Frederick, Kailee Otto, Kaci Beachy, and Maddie Schweighart, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

The Knights fired up the offense in the first inning when Mackenzie Condill singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Putting up nine runs in the fourth inning, the offense came from singles by Chupp, Condill, Kauffman, and Frederick, doubles by Beachy and Schweighart, and a home run by Otto.

Schweighart pitched the Knights to victory as she allowed four hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking zero. Ryli Kauffman threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

ALAH totaled 11 hits in the game. Beachy and both Condill’s each managed two hits to lead the team. No errors were committed in the field as Beachy had the most chances in the field with six.

Condill collects four hits as ALAH defeats Arcola

On Monday the Knights were on the road as they traveled to Arcola to take on the Purple Riders.

Charley Condill would not be denied at the plate picking up four hits and leading ALAH to a 11-1 win over Arcola. Condill doubled in the first, tripled in the second, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth.

The Knights opened-up the scoring in the first inning when an error scored two runs for ALAH.

They scored four runs in the fourth inning as batters Mackenzie Condill and Kailee Otto contributed to the big inning driving in runs.

Maddie Schweighart was the winning pitcher allowing five hits and one run over six innings, striking out four.

ALAH had 13 hits in the game. Charley Condill, Kaci Beachy, and Alisha Frederick all had multiple hits with Condill leading the Knights with four hits in four at bats.
