TRAXLER BEST OF SHOW WINNER. Mary Traxler’s “Autumn Glory” quilt was named Best of Show at the 31st Annual Arthur Amish Country Quilt Show held April 28-30 at the Otto Center. Traxler of Hammond is pictured with the winning quilt. It is an Edyta Sitar pattern called Family Affair done in needle turn applique and Joy Voltenburg of Sullivan did the quilting for her. There were 112 quilts entered in this years show and the quilt show committee was very pleased with the attendance of the three-day event. There were 92 quilts sold at the auction that took place on Saturday. The raffle winner of the queen-size Amelia’s Dancing Star quilt was Mary Lou Harp from Huntley, IL.
