Taylor to celebrate 100th birthday

Phyllis B. Taylor, formerly of Cerro Gordo, will be celebrating her 100th birthday.

Phyllis was born on November 25 in Milmine, IL, the daughter of Max and Elsie Baker.

She is a graduate of Cerro Gordo High School and Illinois State University and is a retired schoolteacher from the Lovington school district.

She was married to Robert K. Taylor Sr. (deceased) and has 2 sons, Keith (Jan) of Decatur, IL and Greg (Arlene) of Avon Park, Florida. She has 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis now resides at Tatman Village in Monticello, Illinois.
