Congratulations to the Mt. Zion High School March Senior of the Lindsey Scherer.

Lindsey’s activities during High School include: FFA (Chapter President-2 years, Section Secretary, and Chapter Secretary), FTC (Robotics)(Head Programmer-2 years), 4-H (Club President-2 years, Club Secretary-2 years, Teen Teacher, Illinois 4-H State Horse Judging Team Member), Soccer (Co-Captain), National Honors Society, Math Team, WYSE Academic Challenge, Pony Of Americas (Illinois Youth President), Tribe

Lindsey’s honors during High School include: Summa Cum Laude, Illinois State Scholar, FFA Chapter Star Farmer, FFA Chapter Degree, FFA Greenhand Degree, State FFA Horse Judging Champion, State 4-H Horse Judging Champion, National 4th Place Horse Judging Team, Illinois State Horse Fair Versatility Champion, FFA Blue and Gold Award, FFA Highest Scholar, Grand Champion County Cake Decorating, FFA Champion Section Electrician, Illinois Pony of Americas High Point 14-18 Girl, Multiple State and National Top 10 Rankings for Pony of Americas

Lindsey plans to attend Oklahoma State University following graduation.

Lindsey plans to double major in Agriculture Education and Agriculture Leadership as well as minor in Agriculture Communications.

Lindsey is the daughter of Karl and Colleen Scherer
