“I thought we went pretty well today,” Head coach JD Arnold said. “I thought we pitched the ball well until midway through the second game and we started walking a bunch of guys and that led ‘em back in the game. Overall I thought we played well. I don’t have too many qualms about the way we played.”
The Braves improved to 8-1 overall and 4-0 in Apollo Conference play. The Braves will face St. Teresa, Metamora, St. Anthony and Chatham-Glenwood.
Well, next week is a tough week for us,” Coach Arnold said. “We’ve played some pretty good competition next week. Yes, we had a good week this week, but it’s a what have you done for me lately world. We better be ready to play next week.”
