Blessings come in many different ways, and Sunday, June 11 proved this very thing. The Sesquicentennial Committee worked very hard for the kick-off celebration which turned out great despite the weather. A large crowd attended the worship services given by the local churches and listened to great music.

There were tents with various displays, games, ice cream, food, etc. Due to the event being held on Sunday, we are publishing only three pictures of the event this week. Watch next week’s edition on several pictures of this kick-off Sesquicentennial event.

Thanks to the hard-working committee, the day went well and people enjoyed visiting with others they had not seen in a long time. Don’t forget to watch for the June 21st edition for more pictures and information.
