Brad Stewart

Bradley Charles Stewart, 52, of Arcola died at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at his sister’s residence in rural Tuscola.

Brad was born January 15, 1971, in Tuscola, the son of Charles and Phyllis Ames Stewart.

Survivors include his daughter, Emery (Marko) Verdin of Mattoon; sister, Ginger (Rick) Kielhorn of rural Tuscola; grandchildren, Brandy Verdin, Marko (Emily) Verdin II, Dakari Brown, Kamrynn Brown, and Max Verdin; nephew, Quinton Risley of St. Paul, Minn.; and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Brad worked for RR Donnelley Sons Printing in Mattoon for 30-plus years and later for Douglas County Milling Company.

His hobbies included photography, fishing, camping, and astrology. He loved spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.

There was a gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Brad on Saturday, September 30, at the Ginger and Rick Kielhorn residence, Tuscola.
