Tuscola economic development group expands its footprint; Douglas County Board contributes $125,000

Tuscola Chamber and Economic Development, Inc. (TCED) will offer its services county-wide after the County Board approved a $125,000 contribution to the program.

TCED Director Brian Moody said the organization also secured $90,000 from surrounding towns. 

According to the City of Tuscola website, TCED promotes the expansion and retention of businesses; provides guidance to local businesses, governments and community groups; coordinates local and state resources and provides building and site information. TCED can assist in securing necessary resources like grants.
