Free clothes shopping for families in need

By Dominik Stallings

It’s Wednesday evening and people are lining up outside the entrance of the First Baptist Church in Tuscola. The doors open about half an hour later and roughly 50 people walk in to “shop” and look for clothes. Families can take clothes that they need for free.
The number of people walking through the church doors has grown immensely for the Clothes Closet Ministry, said Founder Kari Harris.
“The last three months have exploded. This is way bigger than me and this is bigger than the vision I could have dreamed,” said Harris.
