CGB Boys Track and Field Competes at Mt. Zion Indoor Invitational

The Cerro Gordo Bement Broncos high school track and field team competed in the seventeen team Mt. Zion Boys Indoor Invitational held in the Braves’ fieldhouse.
The Broncos finished in ninth place in the team standings with 53 points.
Senior standout distance runner Dylan Howell scored in both the 3200 meters, 3rd at 10:07.37 and the 1600 meters, 4th, 4:58.55, both of which were PRs. Sophomore Will Fuson earned the highest place in the meet taking 2nd in the 1600 meters in a PR of 4:41.88. Tying for fourth in the pole vault at 2.88 meters or 9’ 5” was junior Tyce Alumbaugh and finishing the scoring for the Broncos was Quintin Nevius with a 6th place finish in the 200 meters with a PR of 25.35.
