Cerro Gordo Bement’s Will Fuson Returns to State Track Championships
Bronco junior Will Fuson leads heading into the second lap of the 800 meters at the IHSA Class 1A Sectional meet at Central A & M last week. The Auburn runner next to Will would edge Will out at the finish but his second place and time of 1:59.34 would advance him to the IHSA State Championship prelims on Thursday, May 29 at Eastern Illinois University. Will also took second in the 1600 meters at 4:32.97 and will compete at State in that event also.
