ALAH seniors awarded $1,284,530.00 on Honors Night

ALAH High School Principal Steffanie Seegmiller welcomed students, parents, staff and donors to the ALAH Class of 2026 Honors Night on April 22 in the high school gymnasium.
Following the welcome, over 65 scholarships were awarded to 35 deserving seniors.
The students earned $419,155.00 in local scholarships. Principal Seegmiller commented, “I just cannot believe this total. It really speaks to the generosity of our community members, alumni and local organizations. Just breathtaking.”
She went on to say, “I know sometimes we can’t see beyond our local world, but this is unusual and something we should be incredibly proud of. I believe this is one of those items that we can hang our hat on as to who our communities and students are.”
Scholarships from colleges, universities and including Tristan Keagle’s United States Naval Academy totaled $865,375.00 which brings the ALAH total to $1,284,530.00.
“Breaking the million-dollar ceiling is unbelievable,” Seegmiller stated.
