Christopher Lee Herschberger

Christopher Lee Herschberger, 10, of Arcola, IL passed away at 3:50 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the Danny Miller Jr. residence, 18421 Gun Club Road in Arcola, IL.  Bishop Lamar E. Miller will officiate.  Burial will be held in the Bagdad Cemetery in rural Arcola.  Visitation will be held any time after 2:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2026 and any time after 10:00 AM on Saturday at the Danny Miller Jr. residence.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Christopher was born on September 21, 2015 in Decatur, IL.  He is a son to Phillip Lynn and Leona D. (Miller) Herschberger.

He is survived by his parents, Phillip and Leona Herschberger of Arcola, IL, nine siblings, Landon Dean and his wife Rosanna (Chupp), Julie Ann Otto and her husband Willard, Wilma Jo Jess and her husband Vernon, Carolyn Sue, Norma Kay, Anna Jane, Joseph Lynn, LaVera Renae, LaWayne Jay all at home, his paternal grandparents, Edwin M. and Katie (Hostetler) Herschberger of Arthur, IL and his maternal grandparents, Danny D. and Florence (Stutzman) Miller of Arcola, IL.

He was preceded in death by a sister Roselyn P. Herschberger and a maternal grandmother Esther A. Miller.

Chris just finished his 4th grade year at Eagle Creek School in rural Arcola.
