22nd Annual Fathill Car Show set for July 17 in Cerro Gordo
Classic cars, trucks and specialty vehicles will once again line the grounds of the American Legion as the Cerro Gordo Sons of the American Legion hosts its 22nd Annual Fathill Car Show on Friday, July 17, from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
The popular summer event welcomes all years, makes and models of cars, trucks and special-interest vehicles. Registration begins at 5 p.m., with awards presented later in the evening.
A total of Top 20 Trophies will be awarded to the evening’s favorite vehicles. Participants and spectators will also have the opportunity to win door prizes and take part in a 50/50 drawing.
Food will be available throughout the evening, and guests can cool off inside the air-conditioned American Legion while enjoying the festivities.
The annual event has become a favorite gathering for automotive enthusiasts from throughout the area, featuring an evening of impressive vehicles, music, food and fellowship.
Organizers invite everyone to bring the family and enjoy a night of great cars, good music, good food and a good time. Vehicle owners are encouraged to shine them up and show them off as they compete for one of the evening’s Top 20 awards.
The American Legion is located 220 E Wait Street in Cerro Gordo and admission for spectators is free.
