The Arcola School Board met last week with new Superintendent Tara Chandler. The scant agenda including approving bids for fuel, milk and bread, and approving the school calendar.
Prairie Farms won the milk bid while Alpha Baking Company won the bread bid, and Effingham Equity was the low bidder on fuel.
The Board also approved the resignation of Ashton Carson, and Chandler gave an update on summer projects including cleaning, painting, general maintenance, new fencing, and the playgorund.
