New EIU Gameday app available for Panther fans; Panther Club annual fund launches

CHARLESTON — Eastern Illinois University Athletics has launched an enhanced version of the official EIU Gameday mobile app, providing Panther fans with an updated way to stay connected throughout the 2026-27 athletics season.
Powered by SIDEARM Sports, the free EIU Gameday app is available for iOS and Android devices and features real-time news alerts, schedules, game day information, live stats, exclusive multimedia content and other resources for following Panther Athletics. Fans can download the app by searching “Eastern Illinois Athletics” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Those who previously downloaded the EIU Gameday app and have automatic updates enabled on their mobile device will receive the enhanced version automatically. Users without automatic updates can access the latest features by manually updating the existing app.
The release of the enhanced app coincides with the launch of the 2026-27 Panther Club Annual Fund, Forever Blue, Forever EIU, which supports the success of Eastern Illinois student-athletes both in competition and in the classroom. Contributions to the Panther Club help provide scholarships, academic support, nutrition, sports medicine, equipment and other resources that enhance the student-athlete experience while helping Panther Athletics remain competitive.
