Bement CUSD #5 Invites Community to Gym Vestibule Ribbon Cutting
The Bement Community Unit School District #5 Board of Education invites students, families, alumni and community members to celebrate the completion of the new gym vestibule during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, August 9, from 2-4 pm at Walsh Gymnasium.
The event will commemorate the completion of the new entrance project while recognizing the many individuals, organizations and community members whose generosity and support helped make the project possible.
Guests will have the opportunity to view the completed vestibule, participate in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebrate an important improvement to the school district’s athletic facilities.
District officials say the new vestibule enhances both the appearance and functionality of the gymnasium while providing a welcoming entrance for students, athletes and visitors attending school events.
The $2 million project was partially funded by an alum who left money to the school district in his estate.
The community is encouraged to attend and join Bement CUSD #5 in celebrating this milestone and the partnerships that helped bring the project to completion.
