ALAH’s student cheering section, the Knight Shift cheer on the serve at the home opening match on Thursday, August 28. The theme for the game was the beach and the section did a great job supporting the Knights and helping them to a first game victory.

The ALAH jr. high baseball team played hosts to the Villa Grove Blue Devils on Tuesday, August 26. Eighth grader Jacoby Burnett was the starting pitcher for the Knights. He pitched four and two-thirds innings, giving up three runs, recording only one walk, and had seven strikeouts in the Knights’ 13-4 victory.
