CGB Track and Field at Mt. Zion Boys Indoor Invite

The Cerro Gordo Bement boys track and field team competed in the Mt. Zion Boys Indoor Invitational on Wednesday, March 12. There were nineteen schools from the IHSA Class 1A and 2A divisions. Team scores were not kept.
CGB senior Tyce Alumbaugh brought home the highest finish for the Broncos by taking third place in the pole vault and achieving a new PR of 11’ 6”. Other Broncos placing in the meet were Will Fuson finishing fourth in the 800 meters in a PR time of 2:03.62 and J.P.
Brewer ran a 12:07.84 in the 3200 meters to take sixth place.
