Nevious 10th in 400; Lauren Hill 7th in pole vault for CGB

The Cerro Gordo Bement track and field teams competed at the MZ Final Qualifier indoor track and field meet on Saturday, March 21. Here senior Quintin Nevius, lane 3, races in the 60 meter dash at that meet. He would run a PR of 7.65 and take second in his heat.

MT. ZION – The Cerro Gordo/Bement boys and girls track teams competed at the Mt. Zion qualifier in the Mt. Zion Fieldhouse Saturday and the boys were led by Senior Quintion Nevious, who was 10th in the 400 with a time of 56.09. The girls were led by freshman Lauren Hill and Maddie Willard, who placed seventh and ninth in the pole vault at 7-8 ½.

A total of 36 teams competed in the meet.
