2026 Piatt County Fair June 18-21

Carnival open Thurs., Fri., & Sat.; Fireworks on Friday night

The Fair board for the Piatt County Fair has been gearing up for a great Fair June 18-21!

For the first time in many years, the board is excited to have a carnival! K&S Southern Midways is coming with 12 rides and other carnival attractions, thanks to major sponsorship by Edge Guard of Bement.

The carnival will be open Thursday, June 18, and Friday, the 19, at 5:00. It will open at 2:00 on Saturday, the 20th. Wristbands will be available for $25 for all the rides you want to take advantage of.

Along with the carnival, the Fair this year will have a Foam Party for kids and kids at heart. This will be Saturday afternoon at 2:00. We also plan to have the Scovill Mobile Zoo that afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00. Another Saturday attraction is the Tot Rod Pull and the “Dino” Pull (for adults) at 4:00. Many kids and adults last year had fun on these pedal tractors pulling a sled as far as they could.

Friday night there will be fireworks, bigger than last year, sponsored by the Cerro Gordo Village Board and the Cerro Gordo Legion, SAL, and Auxiliary.

The usual food vendors will be at the Fair, so come enjoy some good Fair food! The Beer Barn will be open in the evenings as well. Also, there will be livestock (Dairy at 9:00 on the 19th, Swine at 9:00 on the 20th, and Beef Cattle at 10:00 on the 21st). Non-livestock junior and 7 and under exhibits (judging is at 9:00 on the 18th) will be on display Wednesday night through noon on Saturday.

Evening entertainment includes Rockin’ Randy DJ and Karoake in the Beer Barn on Thursday, Stone Cold Cowboys in the Beer Barn on Friday, and Andy Router in the Beer Barn on Saturday. Of course, a major event is the crowd pleaser ITPA Tractor Pull on Saturday evening.

Sunday features the Andy Bolsen Memorial Outlaw Hookers Antique Tractor Pull. Andy ran this pull for many years, and in memory of him, the Bolsen family, with help from the Casteel family and others, will carry on with this pull.

Make entries for your livestock and your children’s non-livestock exhibits now through June 12. Non-livestock exhibits are to be brought to the fairgrounds June 17 at 4:30.
