Hudson Edward Romine and Bennett Michael Romine

Infant twin sons, Hudson Edward Romine and Bennett Michael Romine, of Colton and Lanna (Bloemer) Romine, were welcomed into Heaven on July 21, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. They received the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation by Father John Titus.

Private family services were held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the St. Mary Help of Christians in Green Creek, IL.  Father John Titus officiated.  Burial was in the St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Cemetery in Green Creek, IL.  The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Hudson and Bennett are survived by their parents, Colton and Lanna Romine of Mattoon, IL, maternal grandparents, Ed and Renee Bloemer of Effingham, IL, paternal grandparents, Mike and Tina Romine of Mattoon, IL, maternal great grandparents, Bob and JoAnn Bierman of Dieterich, IL, and Clete and Judy Bloemer of Effingham, IL, paternal great grandmothers, Donna Cleland of Charleston, IL and Sue Romine of Arcola, IL, three uncles, Devin and Brady Bloemer of Effingham, IL, and Tanner Romine of Mattoon, IL.

They were welcomed into heaven by their paternal great grandfathers, Gordon Cleland and Tom Romine.
