Hindsboro Christian Church will host a yard and bake sale and serve lunch on May 2, from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (citywide). The lunch and bake sale are by donation. All proceeds will go to InterVarsity Christian Ministries. InterVarsity Christian Ministries are present on the campus of the University of Illinois and on other campuses across Illinois and Indiana. Students are trained to teach other students about a relationship with Jesus and provide a community that helps them cope with the stresses of life.
Funds are used to create programs and support the trainers who raise their own funds. The funding (gifts) will help transform student’s lives forever, organizers said. “Find lots of bargains and check us out on May 2 and God Bless You for past and future support.”
