Otto throws five inning no-hitter; ALAH blanks CGB in baseball

In the game last Friday with Cerro Gordo Bement, Knights’ freshman Griffin Hilton dives safely back to first base on a pick off attempt by the Broncos pitcher. Griffin was a pinch runner in the game which ALAH won 11-0 in five innings. The Knights are now 16-6 on the season and are currently leading the Lincoln Prairie Conference with a 7-1 record.

The week began with a no-hitter by Marcus Otto in a 10-0 five inning triumph over Argenta-Oreana on April 28. Last Thursday, ALAH escaped Arcola 4-2 (see story elsewhere in the County Chronicle and Record Herald News) and last Friday the Knights allowed just four hits in an 11-0 five inning conquest of Cerro Gordo/Bement.
