Champaign — The Illinois Rural Health Association (IRHA) will host its 37th Annual Educational Conference July 29-30th at the I-Hotel in Champaign. The Conference is an opportunity for rural healthcare administrators and clinicians to advance their professional skills, while networking and learning best practices from their counterparts throughout the state. Attendees will have more than 20 concurrent workshops and panel discussions to choose from, over the two-day conference, all geared toward rural practice, including: AI to Enhance Rural Healthcare, Building Vaccine Confidence in Rural Settings, Cross Collaboration for Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment, Implementation of Community Health Worker Reimbursement, Rural Health Transformation Program grant update, and much more. Kicking off the Conference’s opening session will be the founding Dean of Illinois’ proposed Niazee College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. K. Scott Whitlow and the second day’s keynote address will be Brock Slabach, COO of the National Rural Association providing his Federal Rural Health Update.
There will also be an Evening Networking Dinner Reception and competitive Team Trivia on Wednesday, July 29, for all attendees to get to know each other better. Conference registration fees are discounted for IRHA members. The non-member fee includes a 12-month membership.
