100 People Who Care
100 People Who Care, a fundraising arm of the District #305 Education Foundation, met on Wednesday, January 19 at La Cascada to discuss the progress being made in the groups’ fundraising efforts. Dana Tinkle, PE teacher at Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School was in attendance to share how she has used the money granted to her from the education foundation in her physical education classes. With that money, she was able to purchase heart monitors for her junior and senior classes at ALAH. Dana related how much she and the students enjoy using these monitors to track various aspects of their heart rates, endurance, progress, stamina, etc. In the first picture, Dana (second from left) is shown talking to those in attendance.
