Cerro Gordo High School Celebrating 2023 Homecoming

KING AND QUEEN CANDIDATES. The Cerro Gordo High School Homecoming King and Queen candidates for 2023 have been announced. The school bonfire will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 21 at the Piatt County Fairgrounds. This year the king and queen will be announced during the halftime at the game on September 22.

Cerro Gordo High School will celebrate 2023 Homecoming week September 18-23 with the theme being board games. Students will celebrate the week with dress up days and float building.

Thursday, September 21, the school bonfire will be held at 7:00 pm at the Piatt County Fairgrounds.

On Friday students will participate during the morning in class competition games run by the cheerleaders.

The lineup for the parade will start at 12:15 pm in the front parking lot of the high school with the parade slated to start at 1:00 pm.

That evening the CGB Broncos will host the Sullivan-Okaw Valley Redskins with gametime starting at 7:00 pm.

The homecoming court will be introduced during the halftime performance at which time the king and queen will be announced.

The homecoming dance will take place Saturday, September 23 from 7-10:00 pm in the outdoor classroom located in the back of the school.
