ALAH girls fall in LPC tourney; boys drop LPC game

DECATUR – Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond girls’ basketball team the No. four seeded team, in the Lincoln Prairie Conference tournament, fell to fifth seeded Cerro Gordo/Bement 42-23 Monday at Decatur Unity Christian.

On Jan. 5, the Knights beat the Broncos 40-32, but Monday ALAH was held to just eight points in the second half. ALAH led 15-12 at the half.

Claire Seal had a team-high eight points and 20 rebounds for the Knights, who fell to 12-9.
