Aaron Gaona, a senior, and Shelby Roberts-McGeehon, a junior at Arcola High School auditioned for District 5 Senior Choir this past fall and were selected to participate in the ILMEA District 5 Senior Chorus on Nov. 18. Following the district festival, they were selected to participate in the ILMEA All-State Choir on Jan. 24-27 in Peoria. The audition process requires students to sing scales and excerpts from pre-selected pieces. It is an extremely tough audition process.
