Former Atwood Residents, Carol & Bob Dehart, to Celebrate 65th Anniversary

Carol and Bob Dehart of Scottsville, KY, formerly of Atwood, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 21. An open house will be held on Saturday, June 22 in Scottsville.

Carol and Bob moved to Atwood in 1971 where Bob worked for the Atwood Water Department and Carol was a homemaker. Their children are Larry Dehart, Champaign; Steve Dehart, Sacramento, CA; Charlie Dehart, Windsor Mills, MD; Penny Bruno, Springfield, TN; Tami Cox, Mattoon and Lorie Dilts, Dixon, CA. They have nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. They moved to Kentucky in 1992.

Later, Carol delivered newspapers and she and Bob were members of the Atwood Fire Department and EMT’s. They were active members of the United Church of Atwood.
