New Hours at the Atwood-Hammond Library
The Library Board of the Atwood-Hammond Public Library District adopted new hours of operation for the library at its Monday July 1 meeting. The new hours were decided upon for consistency of hours across the open days of the library.
The new hours are Monday through Friday 10 AM to 6 PM each day and Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM. Closed on Sunday. Extended hours will occur when special events are scheduled.
In other news the Board adopted the meeting dates for the fiscal year. They are: for 2024, July 1, August 5, September 3, October 7, November 4, December 2 in 2025 January 14, February 3, March 3, April 7, May 5, and June 2. All Board meetings are held at the Library in Atwood and will begin at 6 PM. Note this is a new and earlier time.
The Board has also adopted a new Library Use Policy which describes prohibited behavior in the library and the penalties if such behavior continues. A copy of this new policy is available, just ask for it at the service desk.
