58th Annual Arthur Alumni Banquet Sept. 28
The alumni committee recently mailed and emailed information regarding the 58th Annual Alumni Homecoming Banquet to be held on Saturday, September. 28, 2024 at the Kaskaskia Country Club 450 E CR300N Arcola, IL. For those who may not have received their mailing, here is the information.
Cost of the banquet is $25 per person which includes buffet, drink and dessert. A cash bar will be available. Social hour is at 5 p.m.; dinner at 6 p.m. Following the dinner there will be a business meeting, awards presentation and 50/50 drawing.
Please make checks payable to Arthur Alumni Association. Mail check to: PO Box 21 Arthur, IL 61911. Please include the names of those attending and year graduated (where applicable). If you would like to participate in the drawing, please include your name and phone number plus $5 per ticket. Need not be present to win. Last year’s winnings were $535. Donations to the alumni association to cover costs are always welcome!
Reservations for the banquet are due by September 7.
Other Homecoming events include: Parade on Friday, September 27 at 2 p.m.; Tour of school immediately following parade (please indicate if you plan to attend the tour); Football game with Cumberland at 7 p.m on Wilson Field. The 29th Annual Alumni Golf Outing will tee off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 28 at Kaskaskia Country Club. Please see a separate article for information on the golf outing.
