BREAKING NEWS FROM ATWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 18, six units of the Atwood Mini Storage on Rt. 36 were burglarized, according to information from the Atwood Police Chief Joe Duncan.

Through investigation, the Atwood Police Department identified a suspect vehicle, ultimately found to be used in the burglary, at an address in Decatur. A search warrant for the house & vehicle was obtained by the Atwood Police Department. Large amounts of stolen property were found at the Decatur address.

The suspect has been identified and is currently at large.
