Cerro Gordo High School Celebrating 2024 Homecoming

The parade will be held Friday, October 4 stepping-off at 1:00 p.m. and the CGB Broncos will host the Villa Grove Blue Devils at Workman-Henricks Field that evening with kick-off at 7 pm.

Cerro Gordo High School will celebrate 2024 Homecoming week September 30 through October 5 with the theme being “Cities Around the World”. Students will celebrate the week with dress up days and float building.
King and queen candidates selected are Mariah Corpus and Brenden Puckett, Adrianah Hollgarth and Dylan Davis, and Josie Layfield and Michael Freese.
Attendants chosen were freshmen Mya Durbin and Jace Wamser, sophomores Addison McDermith and Lucas Walker, and juniors Samantha Sterling and Hayden Rice.
The school bonfire will be held Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 pm at the Piatt County Fairgrounds.
On Friday, October 4 students will participate during the morning in class competition games run by the cheerleaders.
The lineup for the parade will start at 12:15 pm in the front parking lot of the high school with the parade slated to start at 1:00 pm.
That evening the CGB Broncos will host the Villa Grove Blue Devils at Workman-Henricks Field with gametime starting at 7:00 pm.
The homecoming court will be introduced during the halftime performance at which time the king and queen will be announced.
The homecoming dance will take place Saturday, October 5 from 7-10:00 pm at Cerro Gordo High School.
