The Tuscola Lady Warriors volleyball team dropped their final three matches to finish 6-25 on the season, one win better than their previous season’s total.
Against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, the Lady Warriors lost in straight sets (25-12, 25-10).
Kali Gilpin, Ava Rauguth, and Belle Notaro all had one kill each for Tuscola. Chloe Fowler picked up two aces while Lilly Kurtz swatted down a block. Fowler and Rauguth had six and five digs, respectively, while the latter also managed two assists.
Against Central A&M, the Lady Warriors lost in straight sets again (25-17, 25-19).
Fowler recorded four kills while Kurtz and Notaro had three apiece. Notaro also had an ace. Olivia Wallace had one block while Reese Davis dug three digs. Rauguth led the team in assists with 10.
In their final match of the season at the Kansas regional, the Lady Warriors closed out in straight sets for the third time running (25-21, 25-19).
Kurtz had a team-high seven kills while Fowler registered a service ace. Ayla DeLeva led the team in blocking with three while Kurtz swatted two. Davis recorded 27 digs while Rauguth set 16 assists in the loss.
