Nov. 10 Proclaimed Rev. Don Gerkin Day

Rev. Don Gerkin was honored with a retirement open house on Sunday afternoon, November 10, at the Atwood Christian Church.

Atwood Village President Bill Fleming presented Rev. Gerkin with a proclamation declaring it Reverand Don Gerkin Day.

A large crowd attended the open house to wish him and wife Bonnie the best in his retirement. They have now moved to Shelbyville to be closer to their family.
