PARIS – Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond boys basketball team continues to struggle as they lost four games to drop to 1-7 overall and 0-1 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference.
The Knights lost to Paris on the road Saturday 71-48 a day after falling to Okaw Valley 61-38, also away. Tuscola topped ALAH 68-37
Arthur has struggled offensively as they average 45.4 points per game and allow 64.4 points.
Paris 71, ALAH 48
ALAH was only outscored 35-32 in the second half, but they trailed 26-7 after the first eight minutes and 36-16 at the half.
Cal Binion and Marcus Otto scored 11 and 10 points respectively in the second half. Kendall Schrock was also in double digits with 11 points.
Paris, 5-4, was led by Jacob Staley with 24 points.
Okaw Valley 61, ALAH 38
The LPC opener saw the Knights trailing just 14-10 after one quarter and 29-22 at the half. It was 44-32 after three quarters before the Timberwolves outscored ALAH 17-6 in the fourth to win by 23.
Kendall Schrock and Will Hilligoss were the top scorers for ALAH with 14 and 13 points respectively. Schrock had 11 in the first half, while Hilliogss had eight in the second half.
OV improved to 1-7 overall and 1-0 in the LPC.
Tuscola 68,
ALAH 47
Tuscola, the No. 5 team in Class 1A proved to be too much for ALAH in a 68-47 Warrior win as they improved to 5-0 ( now 7-0).
The Knights trailed just 34-25 at the half but Tuscola outscored the Knights 25-13 in the third to take control and win by 21.
Kendall Schrock led the Knights with 13 points.
