BEMENT SPRING FLING
BEMENT SPRING FLING. A great turnout and picture perfect weather made the annual Spring Fling in Bement held at the school a huge success last Saturday. Over 20 vendors were setup in Walsh Gym and kids crafts, face painting, and games were located in the cafeteria. The eighth-grade parents sold sloppy joes, hot dogs, and a bake sale with the proceeds going towards the end of the year trip and the Bement Community Council sold fresh-made cotton candy and raffle tickets with proceeds being used for the July 4 celebration. Outside, the Ninja 5-in-1 inflatable and a 9-hole mini golf course were extremely busy throughout the event along with the Bement Fire Department’s Smoke Trailer also on hand. Food trucks also on site included Joni Express, The Main Scoop, and Caro Coffee Co. The Village of Bement sponsored Spring Fling.
